Chrystal Bracken, LCSW

Chrystal Bracken, LCSW, is a clinical social worker providing compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adults in Sandy, Utah and throughout Utah via telehealth. She works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, burnout, major life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity development.

Chrystal creates a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can feel safe exploring their experiences and begin moving out of survival mode and toward a more authentic and meaningful life. Her approach is particularly supportive for neurodivergent adults and trauma survivors who may be looking for a therapist who understands the complexities of their experiences.

Her work is informed by attachment, existential, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches. Depending on each client's needs and goals, Chrystal incorporates evidence-based therapeutic approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed practice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and self-compassion techniques.

Chrystal earned her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Utah and continues to pursue professional education so she can integrate current, evidence-based approaches into her work.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Chrystal enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to podcasts, practicing yoga, singing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors throughout Utah.
