Anna Purkey, Ed.S.

Anna Purkey received her graduate degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology from the University of Utah. Prior to entering graduate school, Anna worked as an administrative assistant in a busy and growing department at a local university. Through this experience, Anna learned to balance a variety of responsibilities to ensure the department faculty, students, and administrative staff had their needs met and felt supported.

Anna developed a passion for supporting young people in the education setting after working as a mentor/tutor in a high school setting and this experience inspired her to pursue her graduate degree in School Psychology. While completing her graduate program, Anna gained experience in a variety of areas including behavioral consultation, psychoeducational assessments, implementation of behavioral interventions, and individual and small group counseling.

She looks forward to applying the knowledge she gained throughout her graduate program to her work with Wasatch Learning & Wellness.

In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games, and listening to true crime podcasts.
